Priority Points System
Fairly allocating privileges in short supply
Purpose
The Priority Points system provides an equitable means of allocating benefits that exist in limited quantities and which are earned supporting Texas Tech athletics. This system is used by the Red Raider Club to assign benefits among donors based on level of giving, length of membership, number of season tickets purchased and other factors. The goal is to offer fair access to high-demand/low-supply benefits, such as post-season play tickets and parking passes, to our faithful Red Raider supporters.
When Priority Points come into play
The Priority Points system allocates priority for the following benefits:
- Away game tickets
- Individual home game tickets
- Bowl game tickets
- New or additional season tickets for all sports
- Ticket preorder opportunities
- Season ticket upgrades
- Basketball tournament tickets (men’s and women’s)
- Stadium Club seat and suite options / waiting list placement
- Big 12 and NCAA tournament event tickets
- Donor parking
- Red Raider Club special events and other privileges

How the program works
Unlike frequent-flyer or other loyalty programs, Red Raider Club priority points are not “cashed” or “spent.” Instead, they accrue during each donor’s lifetime. The system rewards donors for their ongoing commitment to Texas Tech Athletics by giving individuals with the most cumulative points first access to desirable items in short supply.
When season tickets and seat options are available, eligibility to purchase is determined according to priority points. Donors with the highest number of points will be given priority when purchasing and/or relocating seats. Big 12 Championship, bowl and away game ticket priority is calculated in the same manner.
Priority Points are constantly and automatically recalculated in our database, with every ticket and donation transaction entered and uploaded nightly. That means each donor's rank will change constantly; it will not remain the same from year to year.
How to check your Priority PointsYou can check your points online at any time.
Please note:- The Priority Points system recognizes only payments received, not pledges.
- Points are activated only if you are a current donor to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund with a contribution of any amount.
- Annual Red Raider Club Scholarship Fund donations must be paid in full by May 31 of the corresponding year to receive tickets and/or seat option priority.
- Fund donations may be paid on an annual, quarterly or monthly basis. You may choose to pay via credit card, bank draft or payroll deduction (Texas Tech University / Texas Tech Health Science Center / Texas Tech System employees only).
- Endowment donors are considered active members of the Red Raider Club based on the term of their endowment agreement.
- The cost of tickets does not accrue in Priority Points.
