Terry and Linda Fuller - Southlake, Texas
The Fullers are easily recognized at home and road events by the customized bus with the Double T on the side Terry drives to each football game throughout the season. There you can find the Fullers entertaining all comers with a game on TV and their outstanding fajitas during a day-long tailgate.
Their support of Texas Tech Athletics goes far beyond game-day fan contributions; they include major gifts to several sports, including track, softball, and football. Most recently the Fullers fully funded the Athletic Training Center Weight Room renovation project. The Fullers have also supported the Red Raider Scholarship Fund and the Marsha Sharp Leadership Circle with significant annual gifts. True to their academic commitment, the Fullers' most lasting impact will be felt in the area of endowed scholarships. The Fullers have set up four Clifford B. Jones’ endowments — one named position in each of the following sports: football, men’s basketball, women’s track and field, and men’s golf.
Cloyce and Anita Talbot - Snyder, Texas
The Talbots’ commitment to Texas Tech Athletics is evident at each home sporting event in their faces beaming with Red Raider pride. Key donors in several major facility projects including the United Spirit Arena and Jones AT&T Stadium; their commitment to growth and support of Texas Tech building projects began with the Horizon Campaign. They are steadfast contributors to special projects in a variety of sports and the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, directly impacting Texas Tech student-athletes in all sports.
The Talbots are also members of the Spur Society, and Cloyce Talbot was inducted into the Texas Tech University Academy of Petroleum Engineers in 1998. In 2002, the Texas Tech College of Engineering honored Cloyce with its Distinguished Engineer award.

Ben Alexander – Lubbock, TexasBen’s contributions to Texas Tech University are as diverse and widespread as his accomplishments. A lifelong supporter of Texas Tech, Ben has been a generous donor to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund and the Stadium Club since their inceptions. In addition to his annual giving, he has made a variety of large gifts to Texas Tech Athletics over the years, including two major ones in 1989. The first continues to help maintain the Athletics Training Facility; the second is a lifetime endowment that will support scholarships for perpetuity. Nine years later, Ben helped underwrite two more significant projects: the installation of turf at Jones AT&T Stadium and the creation of what would become the Marsha Sharp Academic Center, which enhances the academic success of Texas Tech Student Athletes. More recently, Ben has supported a wide spectrum of special projects, including renovations of the women’s basketball locker room.
Ralph C. Blodgett – Spearman, TexasRalph Blodgett’s contributions to Texas Tech University are substantial and far-reaching: He served as president of the Texas Tech Alumni Association; as a member of the Texas Tech Foundation Board; and as a charter member of the Texas Tech Century Club. His support of Texas Tech Athletics spans multiple decades and his generosity has helped make many dreams come true. In 1984, Ralph committed a substantial gift to the Athletic Facilities Improvement Endowment to support facilities upgrades and enhancements for years to come. Five years later, he showed his commitment to Texas Tech Athletics once again by establishing a lifetime endowment and by donating generously to the Athletics Training Center. His initial and ongoing support has been instrumental to the growth and improvement of all Texas Tech Athletics facilities. In addition to these major contributions, Ralph has been a consistent supporter of the Red Raider Scholarship Fund and the Stadium Club seat programs.
Robert W. Broyles – Fort Worth, TexasRobert views his personal opportunity to obtain an education through a football scholarship a major springboard to his success. Not surprisingly, his scholarship contributions reflect deep appreciation for the education he received and pays it forward to current student-athletes. One of the all-time leading donors to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, Robert began committing annually to the program at a high level in 1991. Since then, he has given consistently at the Athletic Director’s Council membership level. Additionally, Robert has contributed to the Dave Brown memorial endowment, which recognizes the positive influence Coach Brown had on Texas Tech student-athletes. A former letter winner, Robert participates in the Football Legacy Locker Program, through which inspiring messages from former players and other supporters are displayed on plaques in the football locker room to encourage current and future Red Raiders. Robert has also established a major planned gift devoted to Texas Tech Athletics and its future success.
O.R. Van Ness and Betty Van Ness – Lubbock, TexasO.R. and Betty have shown extraordinary commitment to Texas Tech Athletes. Their 10-year-plus commitment to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund has made a tremendous impact in the lives of hundreds of student-athletes. Their generosity also has made an invaluable difference in our ability to attract the best possible student-athletes. They have made their company plane available to several Red Raider coaches for recruiting, as well as to help support staff attend athletic events without additional expense to the department. The Van Ness’ remarkable gift-in-kind donation makes possible new opportunities for multiple sports each year. They are also major supporters of the Stadium Club seat program.
