Annual Giving

As tuition and fees increase from year to year – and college athletics gets more and more competitive – the Red Raider Club must rise to the challenge of funding all of Texas Tech’s NCAA-allotted athletic scholarships. Annual contributions to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund provide an ongoing source of added revenues that fill the gap between our revenue sources and the full costs of scholarships, travel, first-class equipment and facilities, and other day-to-day operating needs.

With rising costs and increased pressures to fund the most competitive athletic programs, Texas Tech student-athletes are counting on you for three things:

1. Join the Red Raider Club today at any giving level through your contribution to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund AND
2. Renew your commitment annually to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund – and with it, your membership in the Red Raider Club.
3. Get other Red Raider fans to support Texas Tech Athletics and student-athletes.

Essentially, your tax-deductible gift to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund is your ticket into the Red Raider Club.

Membership benefits are earned in a drive year and allocated in the following
benefits year:

• Each drive year runs from June 1 to May 31
• Benefits are disbursed the following June 1 to May 31

In other words, the deadline for annual membership each year is May 31, and you can begin taking advantage of your membership benefits in June. Red Raider Club benefits are determined by the total amount you donate to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund during the previous June 1-May 31 cycle.
