About the Red Raider Club
Your membership donation to the Red Raider Club directly supports more than 280 scholarship student-athletes in 17 different sports. This support allows Texas Tech to build and maintain a first-class athletic program that can compete at the highest levels within the Big 12 Conference, the NCAA and nationally. Going beyond athletic performance, the Red Raider Club also helps to ensure that individual student-athletes thrive academically. At Texas Tech, we recognize that athletic achievement is important, but the ultimate goal is for our student-athletes to earn a degree and excel in their chosen field of study.
Organized for real red-and-black impact
The Red Raider Club is part of the Texas Tech Foundation, the official 501 (c)(3) organization for the Texas Tech University System. It operates directly under the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Annual donors to the Red Raider Club now contribute approximately $4 million to academic scholarships for student-athletes, addressing a need that grows every year.
Financial support from Red Raider Club members is the cornerstone of Texas Tech Athletics. The organization plays a vital role in the life of the university and in the lives of so many young people.
